Case Study #1: AirBrush App Launch

Meitu is a China based startup who closed $350M to target Western audiences with AirBrush, a selfie editing app. I was a part of a three month ideation and research project.

Projects included market research, analyzing hundreds of selfies, influencer outreach, app store optimization, blog development, Facebook ads, Instagram ads, and a live launch at Beautycon in New York City! Our booth was a success. We had a custom made life size unicorn built with a GIF maker, two app testing selfie stations, branded EOS lipbalm, and swag giveaways that attracted attendees, influencers, and press. We increased brand awareness, gathered user feedback, and landed several influencer partnerships

JJ Virgin in a celebrity trainer and wellness professional.

In this freelance role, my goal is to promote affiliate offers in a more holistic way through content marketing to build trust with JJ Virgin’s audience.

Sample #1: Create blog content around affiliate offers to drive more revenue

I came up with the idea of promoting some of our best performing offers in blog posts. The idea is to be more content driven vs direct response email marketing driven as the client had been in the past. I also wanted to diversify her affiliate marketing strategy to not rely on only sending emails to affiliate offers.

Top 10 Best Mother’s Day Gifts

• This article mentions seven affiliate offers and three internal offers.

• Since it was published in April, it has consistently driven $1,000+ in revenue each month.

Sample #2: Partner with companies in more strategic ways that benefit both parties when it comes to revenue, traffic and lead generation

It was apparent that the client needed new products to promote, but what? Pique Tea reached out before I started working with JJ Virgin’s company. I followed up on their initial outreach, jumped on a call, and we moved forward with the following promotion.

We created a custom recipe using both JJ Virgin and Pique Tea product, linked to it in our Three Health Tips Tip Tuesday email driving about $900.93 in revenue.

We followed up with a full solo email to our 90-day actives and generated an additional

$1956.42 in revenue.

I negotiated a higher payout and recurring commissions for customers who continue to order from Pique Tea.
